LasViewer (“the App”) is a point cloud viewer for iOS and macOS developed by Dmitri Predeyn, IE (“we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information. In short: the App works entirely on your device and does not collect, transmit, or share your personal data.
None. We do not collect, store on our servers, or transmit any personal information, usage analytics, device identifiers, or diagnostics. The App contains no advertising, no tracking, and no third‑party analytics SDKs.
Point cloud files you open (.las, .laz, .e57,
.ply) and everything derived from them — indexes, measurements, projects,
and attachments — are processed and stored only locally on your device.
They are never uploaded, sent to us, or shared with any third party. We have no access to them.
The App is fully offline. The only time it uses the network is to purchase or restore a subscription through Apple’s StoreKit / App Store. This connection is handled by Apple, not by us. We do not operate any server and do not receive any personal or payment information from this process.
Subscriptions are sold and managed by Apple through your App Store account. Payment, billing, and renewal are processed entirely by Apple. Subscription receipts are validated on your device using Apple’s signed StoreKit transactions. We never see or store your payment details. Apple’s handling of this data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.
Because your data never leaves your device, its retention and security are under your control. Deleting the App, or removing files and projects within it, removes that data from your device.
The App does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
Since we do not collect or hold any of your data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. You remain in full control of all data on your device.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
